Should you print your photos on the lighter side? That is something you may be asking yourself, “why can’t I just print my photos the same way as any other kind of prints?” First, the answer is a resounding YES! You can print your photos on the lighter side, if you follow the following steps.

The first thing you want to do is go to your printer’s website and find out what their scale is. You want to go to their gloss setting so that you can see how they will print your photos on the lighter side. If you get a different setting that does not work for you then you will need to use the toner set method to create your print.

After you have the setting you want for your print, take a digital photo and place it in front of the toner set and the tone setting. You can use the paper shade to be sure that you are not seeing black and white or the ink. By changing the shade you will be able to see the quality of the image you want to print.
